Wrist blood pressure monitor July 22, 2010 Linda King-Blake (Rockford, IL) This wrist unit is very easy to use & blood pressure values from the wrist monitor almost perfectly matched those obtained at my doctor's office using the traditional cuff. Very happy w/ this purchase. Highly recommend. Physician approved.LifeSource UB-512 Advanced Memory Wrist Auto Inflate Blood Pressure Monitor
sometimes hard to get cuff in the right spot June 28, 2010 gg in houston Tested with the nurse at doctors office and is completely accurate. Sometimes hard to line up red area with correct spot on arm. Fits my arm comfortably.
blood pressure machine May 14, 2010 Teresa Julian (VA) After buying 4 of them , finally found one that fits. Nice large cuff for those fat upper arms. LOL! Totally satisfied with item and price I bought it for was great.
Price increased $15.95 while in my cart! May 12, 2010 Sienna (Montana) I haven't used this product, but I was going to order it today, until the price increased from $68.99 to $84.94 while in my cart! Geez $15.95 seems quite the punishment for wanting to buy a few more things from Amazon!! I realize that this can happen if you leave things in your cart for any length of time, but I didn't think a few minutes warranted the change! Very disappointed as this BP cuff was exactly what I was looking for and now I will probably not purchase it.
Unit Does NOT Turn Off When Not in Use April 6, 2010 Rosie (Hyattsville, MD USA) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
The unit works find but once you insert the batteries, unlike my other unit, it does not have an off button and therefore have inflated in the carrying case on its own when placed in a position that causes the start button to be depressed.
My other unit, not a Life Source, has an on/off button and a start button and has never accidentally turn on.
Also, the clock stays on when the unit is not being used. This is a major draw on the battery function. The only other option for use of this machine is to use the AC adapter and plug in and unplug the unit whenever use it required.
(Personally, I would prefer an on/off button or switch in order to prevent the case of the inadvertent inflation of the cuff.)
