The UA-704V Mini Manual Inflate is an innovative monitor that incorporates digital blood pressure technology and advanced features in a small, compact design. This monitor has been clinically validated for accuracy (+/- 3mmHg and Pulse +/- 5%), so you can be confident that your readings are consistently correct. The measurement range is 20 mmHg to 280 mmHg and Pulse: 40 to 200 pulses/minute. Included with this hand-held monitor is the A&D Medical Irregular Heartbeat feature that alerts the user and provides an accurate measurement even when an irregular heartbeat occurs. A manual inflate monitor offers an economical solution to those who need an accurate way to monitor their blood pressure, but without the expense of an automatic inflate unit. In addition, this energy efficient monitor can perform approximately 2,000 measurements with just one "AA" battery (included). To obtain an accurate reading, it is important to use the correct cuff size. A cuff that is too small will result in a higher than expected reading and a cuff that is too large will result in a lower than expected reading. The UA-704V contains a latex-free bulb and a arm cuff size which has a range of 9.4" to 14.2". Also included are a trilingual instruction manual, quick start card, four week blood pressure logbook and warranty card. Blood Pressure Monitor worked very well, and was accurate (compared readings with another monitor that had been compared with doctor's readings). Simple to use, and relatively inexpensive. Personally, I prefer the manual inflate, as opposed to the automatic inflate, because it's just as easy to use, and doesn't eat up nearly as many batteries. Unfortunately the cuff on the monitor that I purchased failed after approximately two weeks of use, and I had to return it to Amazon. Amazon sent a replacement immediately when I called, and didn't wait for me to return the defective monitor (return shipping was also paid by Amazon). Have been using the replacement for a number of weeks now without any problems, and hope it remains trouble-free.

Generally works well but did have some difficulty getting a reading a time or two. Digital printout would indicate cuff problem but did not elaborate. I'm not having any continuing problem and the device seems to work very well. Good product for the money.
 Unreliable, painful product August 15, 2010

I've used this product about a dozen times. It is painful to use because the pressure ticks down 1 point at a time and it takes minutes to get a reading. My arm tingles and I usually have a headache afterward. On several occasions it has failed to even give me a reading. I would not recommend this product.

After using this BP monitor for a month, I am very satisfied. It is very easy to use.
The readings seem consistent and I assume accurate. It take little effort to inflate
the cuff. And it requires only one AA battery, which will save me many $$$ compared to the
one I just replaced.

This has been a great purchase! The cuff is convenient and easy to use. I have owned the product for about one month now and have been impressed with the apparent durability and quality. The one feature that I especially appreciate is the manual inflation. Other cuffs with automatic inflate would seem to be constantly needing batteries. This model has batteries provided for the digital display and comes with a lifetime warranty. It is a great value and as a nurse I would highly recommend it!
