If the EW3039S detects an irregular pulse, an icon will warn you of potential inaccuracy. View larger. | Easy to Use Just wrap the cuff around your wrist, and with just one touch of the On/Off Start button, the monitor auto inflates for quick, easy measurements. An automatic memory feature allows two people to capture 90 readings each for a total of 180 readings. Each person can save readings in order to track them over time to observe trends. The large LCD panel shows both blood pressure readings and pulse rate simultaneously. If the unit detects an irregular pulse, it will display an icon, indicating that the reading should be retaken as it is inaccurate. The same thing will happen if the device detects movement during the reading. An easy to understand three-color light system makes it easy for you to understand what your reading is and whether it falls in the Hypertension, Prehypertension or Normal range. The Panasonic EW3039S Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor runs on two AA Alkaline batteries which are included. How it Works The DFT (Digital Filter Technology) uses a sensor to detect and isolate only the essential pulse oscillation, which helps eliminate other noise factors and leads to quick and reliable measurements. This also helps avoid over-tightening of the cuff. The monitor lights up if you are moving during a reading, alerting you to the fact that your reading will not proceed unless you stop moving. The automatic memory feature allows you to capture save readings for two different individuals, making it easy to keep track of your results. What's in the Box Panasonic EW3006W blood pressure monitor, two AA batteries, and operating instructions.

Not accurate March 30, 2010 Tiramisu (Chicago, IL USA) I bought this but just returned it. Readings were inaccurate. I took it to the doctor's office and compared the results... sure enough doctor told me to get a different one. I cannot recommend it to anyone else...
Disappointed November 17, 2009 Michael A. Pavia (Monroe, CT) 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
I've owned the Panasonic wrist BP monitor for 2 years and unfortunately - I haven't found it to be a very accurate device. Positioning of your arm is critical to getting a good reading - however, I found that an immediate comparison with a cuff type device (upper arm cuff), showed the readings on the Panasonic to be inaccurate by a wide margin. It took me awhile to figure out that the readings were wrong - and it caused me to delay starting BP medicine when I really needed it. I'd reccomend a cuff type model in place of this.
Accurate, and simple to use July 2, 2009 A. Carr (Mississippi) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
If you need to monitor blood pressure frequently, consider this unit. It is very simple to operate and allows storage of two sets of data. Readings seem to be accurate - although I have not calibrated the unit against a known standard.
Works Great! April 29, 2009 E. A. Poe (Bullhead City, AZ) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I've had the Panasonic EW3039S Easy-to-Use Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor for a month. It's my first home blood pressure monitor. It's very well constructed. I'm amazed at how easy it is to use. It's completely intuitive. The readings are very consistent, as long as the placement of the monitor and the arm are consistent. It's very small and portable. I highly recommend this product.
Panasonic Wrist Cuff March 6, 2009 Prairie Princess (Up North) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Easy to use, and accurate. Great for 2 people to track BP. Would suggest to those that are having issues with cuff, to go through directions again. This is a wonderful little cuff.
