This monitor is incredibly easy to use -- simply wrap the cuff around your wrist and press start. The built-in cuff fits wrist sizes 5.25 to 8.5 inches in circumference. In seconds, your blood pressure and pulse readings are displayed on the large digital panel. Proven time and time again, Omron's IntelliSense technology ensures accurate, clinically-proven, and comfortable readings. And with a 14 memory recall you can track your blood pressure and pulse progress as you work towards a healthier lifestyle
There are several easy steps to taking your blood pressure with this monitor. First of all, avoid eating, smoking, and exercising for at least 30 minutes before taking a measurement. Stress raises blood pressure, so avoid taking measurements during stressful times. Also, measurements should be taken in a quiet place. You should be in a relaxed, seated position with your feet flat on the floor. Before you take your measurement, rest comfortably in a relaxed environment for at least 15 minutes. Place the cuff over your left wrist with your left thumb facing upwards. Position the unit leaving approximately 0.5-inches of space between the edge of the cuff and your palm. Pull the cuff upward while holding the edge of the wrist cuff and wrap snugly. Make sure to lightly press the Velcro closure with your fingers so that it is fastened tightly.

I am very please with the easy of using the monitor and would tell everyone that this one is the best that I have used, I have used some other brands and this beats them all. I have been using it for around a month, 63yrs old woman.

We use these products in a prison system. Larger cuffs do not fit through the bars, nor do many of the inmate's arms. These units are very handy to obtain relaible vital signs (I spent alot of time comparing the reading to routine BP cuffs. They were very compatible in the range as long as you followed instructions) It also beats holding out someone's arm and have an inmate try to get it close to your breast as you try to help him hold a stable position. That doesn't happen with these cuffs. I expect to see more of these in the future..they are less painfull and much easier to haul around with you. Try one and see what you thnk.
